Is it true that Male Cats are more Affectionate and more likely to Play with Cat toys than Female Cats?

I’ve heard this about a lot of animals… I think one of the things is if he’s neutered he’ll deff be more friendly and less territorial and easier to deal with. And I think the things people have about the females is, spayed or not, they’re very temperamental (at least the ones I know, and I know a lot XD) and seem to spend their time PMSing XD
But I don’t know if it’s anything proven…It’s more just a personality thing I think, it depends on the cat

No. I’m only going off personal experiences, but males are bastards, especially if you haven’t neutered them.

I think so. I don’t really like female cats. They’re usually afraid of people or don’t like being played with. Male cats are much more playful and cuddly. The downside is that if they’re not fixed they spray stuff on your walls that smells like really strong urine.

Our female Russian Blue is probably the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met. She’s extremely playful, it’s all she wants to do! Our male is the opposite. He only wants to be touched when it’s his decision, he’s very lazy and not playful. He makes Garfield look active…

My whole life I’ve had cats and I can say with authority that females can be just as affectionate as males. It’s the same with any living thing-what is their personality. At the moment I’ve 6 cats, 4 males and 2 females. Everyone is affectionate but in their own way.
I of my females sleeps with me every nite and as I’m writing this she is in my lap and one male is sleeping on the chair next to me. It’s a flip of the coin. It’s genetics and also how a cat was treated when they were young.
Kittens (male or female) will have alot more energy and will act like little kids and will play with almost anything, sometimes even imaginary things. They will settle down when older just like people.

The most important is to get your cat male or female spayed/neutered!

p.s. don’t ask me why ’cause I don’t know why but I believe that females are smarter than males.
