I caught my cat trading his cat toys for catnip. Is an intervention program the right approach?

Yes, my cat was a cat-nip addict and it is best to get all his cat buddies together and explain how much he is hurting others. You then need to slowly decrease the amount of cat-nip available/used. It is a tough, difficult road but he can survive and live a normal catty life.

Lock up your wallet. When he gets the need, he’ll start stealing from you.

I think you’d be best to stay out of it until you discover him vaporizing hydroponic nip.
