Poll: Where do you buy pet supplies for your pets? Walmart, pet stores or online?

I just wonder where many people shop for their pets, from Walmart, special pet stores or online, like Amazon or eBay? I love dogs and cats very much, but never tried having one as my mom didn’t allow. Now I’ve moved out and gonna have a dog and cat. If buying online, is the quality good? From which eBay or Amazon stores do you usually choose?

That depends. Sometimes at Walmart, sometimes online. I usually buy some pet supplies, like carrier, food and water bowls, etc, from some eBay stores. I remember a pet supplies store named Accessory2go, whose water bowls are really fantastic. I’m very satisfied with the shopping experience online. http://stores.ebay.com/Accessory2go/Pet-Supplies-/_i.html?_fsub=3025999016&_sid=182677036&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322
You can have a try.
For dog foods, I often buy them just at walmart, it’s convenient.

Browse online. Drs Foster & Smith have really good things as with Tractor Supply if you have one. When it comes to flea and tick and Heartworm, get it through your vets. You get what you pay for…plus they have the company backing the product…

It depends. I’ve bought some pet supplies from Walmart like litterboxes, chew toys for my rabbits (only wood, though), and decorations for my fish tank. I’ll never buy any food from Walmart, as they really only carry really crap quality brands.
I only buy food from general pet stores if they have the kind of food and I’m in dire need of it. Otherwise, I go to specialty pet stores that stock mostly good quality food because they’ve had better prices than chain pet stores.
I haven’t bought much online, myself, but you can find good quality for a decent price.

In most cases, I bought the supplies on eBay or Amazoon, or on some popular pet supplies websites. They have more choices than at walmart.

I tend to buy from specialty pet stores, because i dont really like to support the chain pet stores since they usually get their animals from mills. Also, speciality stores have better brands and food than other stores. I have gone to walmart once, and found that their items seemednquite cheap, at least at mine. I was looking for toys, but definitly not any kind of pellets/food. I sadly found that they chew toys that they had, i did not trust. But i did pick up a package of treats, and a hideyhouse for my hamster. Buying online could be very good, if you can find somewhere that ships to your area for cheap, and if you buy alot, you can probably get a deal. I prefer to buy the food in person because then you can actually see what younare buying, and the best before date, and How the food actually looks. But it really is just your preference, and the products that your store stocks that is near you.

I have a 5 month golden retriver puppy and we started to buy his food from pet smart but guss what sams club was cheaper.(purina dog food) Pet smart had a 30 pound bag for $22 and sams club had 50 pound bag for $22.

    Hope this helps.
