what happens to a dog if he eats catnip?

The dog was caught with an all natural catnip cat toy will he be okay or will he get sick.

He will turn into a wild hyena and have severe acne.

He should be fine he may just be giddy and jump around alot and at the worst maybe throwup.

He will be fine! Catnip is ok for dogs to have. In fact, it will help a dog if its tummy is upset or if they have gas.

He should be fine.. my friends dog actually ate a cat nip mouse.. and pooped it out a few days later..

he just acted a little loopy for a few hours.. (like he was high on something)

and this dog is a long hair weiner dog.. so im guessing your dog is bigger?

Well, my dog got a hold of twelve roach traps and ate the poison and the plastic. If she didn’t get sick, then your dog should be fine. And yes, they were securely put away in places that I didn’t think she could reach. Sadly, if she can eat it, then she can find it. Trust me.

Nothing. It is related to mint and not a toxicity concern. Now if he ate the toy that is another story.
